The latest news from the TCA press tour today is a season 7 renewal for USA Network’s Suits, in addition to hard premiere dates for Falling Water and Eyewitness.
Falling Water, from executive producers Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead) and Blake Masters (Brotherhood), will premiere October 13.
Eyewitness, from executive producer Adi Hasak (Shades of Blue) will bow on October 16.
All three original dramas hail from Universal Cable Productions. The announcements were made at the bi-annual gathering of the Television Critics Association by Chris McCumber, President, Entertainment Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.
ABOUT SUITS
SUITS is currently airing its sixth season, featuring a prison storyline, Wednesdays at 9/8c.
Season 7 will air in 2017.
From the beginning, Suits has centered on the fast-paced Manhattan corporate law firm, Pearson Specter Litt — but last season, their world was shaken to its core when Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) signed a two-year plea deal admitting his fraud to spare his colleagues Harvey (Gabriel Macht), Jessica (Gina Torres) and Louis (Rick Hoffman).
In Season 6, Mike deals with the harsh realities of prison life, while his relationship with his fiancé Rachel (Meghan Markle) and the future of the firm is unknown. With Pearson Specter Litt’s troubles at a peak, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) must help bring them all together to not only save the firm, but also the friendships they have all dedicated their entire career and lives to.
From Universal Cable Productions, Suits was created and is executive produced by Aaron Korsh (The Deep End). Doug Liman (Covert Affairs, The Bourne Trilogy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith), David Bartis (Covert Affairs, The O.C.) and Gene Klein (Covert Affairs) of Hypnotic serve as executive producers.
Daniel Arkin (90210) and Rick Muirragui (Men of a Certain Age, The Good Guys) and Silver Tree (The Real O’Neals, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce) also serve as executive producers.
ABOUT FALLING WATER
Premieres Thursday, October 13 at 10/9c.
Falling Water is the story of three unrelated people who slowly realize that they are dreaming separate parts of a single common dream. The series, from Universal Cable Productions, is executive produced by Hurd of Valhalla Entertainment, Masters and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) who also directed the pilot.

ABOUT EYEWITNESS

Eyewitness is a bone-chilling crime thriller that delves into the lives of two teenage boys after they secretly meet up in a cabin, bear witness to a shooting and barely escape with their lives.
Desperate to keep their relationship a secret and in fear of being found by the perpetrator, they remain silent but soon learn that what has been seen cannot be unseen — and when you witness a horrible event, it changes everything.

From Universal Cable Productions, Eyewitness is executive produced by Hasak. Jarl Emsell Larsen and Scott Peters (V, The 4400) and Jackie de Crinis also serve as executive producers.
